
Without a doubt chameleons in the wild are not as good looking as they are in captivity. Good nurturing pays off big time in captivity. Just think about it, chameleons in captivity don’t have to travel long distances to find food, they have water every day and nice UVB lighting, a variety of food prey, shade, and many factors that make their life a bit easier IMO.
Many chameleons we received with normal nice looks, after a few months in their new home they just burst in colours!
