Satanic Leaf-Tailed Gecko

The Satanic Leaf-Tailed Gecko (Uroplatus phantasticus) is one of Madagascar’s most remarkable reptiles and, for many enthusiasts, the jewel in the crown of the leaf-tailed gecko world.

Famous for its extraordinary camouflage, flattened body and leaf-like tail, this small nocturnal gecko can blend almost seamlessly into dead leaves and vegetation. Individual animals can display an impressive variety of colours and patterns.

We import our Uroplatus phantasticus from Madagascar. We carefully inspect the animals we receive and assess their condition before offering them to customers.

This species has specialized environmental and husbandry requirements. It is not considered a beginner species, and prospective keepers should research appropriate temperature, humidity, ventilation, enclosure and feeding requirements before purchasing.
