Uroplatus sikorae, commonly known as the Mossy Leaf-Tailed Gecko, is a remarkable species native to Madagascar. Its mottled coloration, flattened body and incredible camouflage allow it to blend almost seamlessly into tree bark and other natural surfaces.
These nocturnal, arboreal geckos are fascinating to observe and are especially popular with keepers interested in Madagascar’s unique leaf-tailed geckos.
The animals currently offered on this page are LTC (Long Term Captive) Madagascar imports. We have maintained and monitored them in captivity before offering them for sale.
For animals listed as Available Now, pictures show the actual individual geckos available, allowing you to select the animal you are purchasing.
For Pre-Order animals, pictures are representative samples only. The exact appearance, size and coloration of the animal you receive may vary from the images shown.
Like other Uroplatus, this species has specific environmental and husbandry requirements. Prospective keepers should research appropriate temperature, humidity, ventilation, enclosure and feeding requirements before purchasing.
We have specialized in Madagascar reptiles since 2009 and carefully select the animals we import and offer.
Available in Canada. Local pickup is available in Markham, Ontario, and Canada-wide shipping is available when weather and conditions permit.

Even though our animals arrive in excellent shape, like other pets in your household, we suggest a fecal test to check for possible parasites. These aren’t always present, and this should be part of the routine for any chameleon keeper. Run a fecal test on any reptile collection, WC, or CB every year.
