Uroplatus fimbriatus, commonly known as the Giant Leaf-Tailed Gecko, is one of Madagascar’s most spectacular leaf-tailed geckos. Its large size, flattened body, incredible camouflage and distinctive appearance make it an impressive species for experienced Uroplatus keepers and breeders.
We import our Uroplatus fimbriatus from Madagascar. We carefully inspect the animals we receive and assess their condition before offering them to customers.

We do our best to determine each animal’s sex. However, because sexing can sometimes be difficult, we cannot guarantee sex with 100% certainty.
Like other Uroplatus, this species has specialized environmental and husbandry requirements. It is best suited to keepers who understand the temperature, humidity, ventilation, enclosure and feeding requirements of Madagascar leaf-tailed geckos.

Even though our animals arrive in excellent shape, like other pets in your household, we suggest a fecal test to check for possible parasites. These aren’t always present, and this should be part of the routine for any chameleon keeper. Run a fecal test on any reptile collection, WC, or CB every year.
