Carpet chameleons are small to medium-sized chameleons native to Madagascar, known for their bright and vibrant coloration. They typically grow to 6-8 inches long and are arboreal creatures living in the forest canopy. They make great pets due to their unique appearance, active personalities, and relatively easy care requirements. They require a medium size terrarium with proper lighting, temperature, humidity controls, and a varied diet of live insects. Carpet chameleons are hardy, interactive pets for beginning and experienced reptile keepers.
Females are more colourful than males. Males tend to be bright and colourful, with predominantly green and blue colours.

Even though our animals arrive in excellent shape and the same as other pets in your household, a fecal test is suggested to check for possible parasites. These are not always present, and this practice should be part of the routine for any chameleon keeper. A fecal test should be run every year on any reptile collection, WC or CB.
