Madagascar Import Available Now!
RARE!!! One of the most beautiful Uroplatus (leaf tail) geckos. These leaf tails are becoming harder to get; we hope we are wrong, but given the decreasing numbers allowed to be exported yearly, they’ll soon be put on hold for exporting, making them impossible to get. This is a great opportunity to start a breeding project with a species that will have a high demand shortly.
These look like wood sticks. Gracious and with a ton of personality.
Images are samples of the animals previously imported.
Lined leaf-tailed geckos are a species of gecko native to Madagascar, known for their distinctive leaf-like tail and unique wood-like colouration. They are arboreal creatures that grow to 10-12 inches in length and are active at night, making them great pets for those who prefer to observe their pets during the evening.
Lined leaf-tailed geckos are hardy, low-maintenance pets that are easy to care for and do not require a large terrarium. They feed mainly on insects and can live for 10-15 years in captivity. They are also known for their calm demeanour, making them a great choice for first-time reptile keepers. With proper care, lined leaf-tailed geckos can make wonderful, interactive pets that are sure to be unique and interesting to any home.
Excellent and rewarding breeding project for those interested in getting a rare-profitable project.
Even though our animals arrive in excellent shape and the same as other pets in your household, a fecal test is suggested to check for possible parasites. These are not always present, and this practice should be part of the routine for any chameleon keeper. A fecal test should be run on any reptile collection, WC or CB every year.
